The picture above showing us portion of important element in a platform. It was a Jacket or also known as Leg of the platform. Basically, this jacket was initially build on the surface of gigantic log and put on top of fix structure which having super duper great foundation to hold and withstand the load from jacket.
I know it's a bit technical, but this is the picture I got in my 6th folder. Tadaa.. This jacket in the end will be skid on the skid beam onto the barge before sailaway to dedicated location at offshore.
p/s: I am going back to KL tomorrow. Aiyaarkk.. time running so fast!
